The LAX Coastal Education Foundation is a nonprofit 501 (c)3 organization dedicated to positively impacting education in the communities we serve which include: Westchester, Playa del Rey, Playa Vista, Del Rey, Marina del Rey and beyond.

Our mission is to support and enhance the highest quality educational environment for students, educators, and parents in the LAX Coastal Area.
Our goal is to support and promote local schools through community outreach, partnerships, recognition and information dissemination. Through the leadership efforts of the foundation in fundraising, promoting our schools and creating strategic partnerships with educators, families, local government and the business community, we are working to strengthen all our local—public, charter, private, Parochial--schools.
The LAX Coastal Education Foundation was established as the Westchester/Playa Education Foundation in 2004, before a relaunch in 2017 to reflect an updated mission to support all local schools in our coverage area.
To date, the LAX Coastal Education Foundation has given out over $350,000 to our local schools.
