Student Teacher Ratio: 1 to 17 or fewer students per teacher currently. We anticipate a 1 to 20 or fewer students as we welcome students back on campus. About Westchester Lutheran School: The purpose of Westchester Lutheran Church and School is to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ through academic excellence, and to nurture well-grounded students in a disciplined, diverse, and caring atmosphere. Electives Art, music and PE are all offered, even during COVID-19 distance learning Sports Practices are resuming soon for 6-8th grade Basketball, volleyball, flag football, golf, cross-country, track, soccer (all offered for boys and girls) Special education and support programs Teachers from Lutheran Special Education Ministries are on campus to support students with IEPs or special needs (an extra cost option) Additional Info We are committed to helping students to maintain learning at grade level or above during the COVID-19 distance learning time. We are ready to receive students back as soon as we are allowed to, with all safety protocols and equipment in place.
